“Working with Raul Ortegon was tremendously exciting. We were quite nervous leading up to our first band photoshoot, but as soon as we showed up Raul was kind and comforting. He made us feel like we were just hanging out having fun. He came prepared with a vision for several spots we could try shooting at, and different poses, props, and movements for capturing candid moments.

I would recommend Raul to anyone looking for a solid photographer with an artistic vision. We came to Raul without very little vision for our photoshoot, and he jumped on the opportunity to help us vision-storm. The final deliverables that we received from Raul helped us promote our album on social media, create posters for our tour, and establish our artist portfolios on streaming services. We hear time and time again from our fans, friends, and family how much they love these photos. Raul even went the extra mile to create a 10 second canvas to accompany one of our songs. Long Form

Home Is The Key
This documentary was created for Habitat for Humanity’s Home Is The Key program and used as part of a fundraising event. The video follows a homeowner’s journey of building their home, highlighting how Habitat partners with families and communities to make homeownership possible.

For this project, I managed the full production process from start to finish, including filming, interview setup, project coordination, editing, color grading, and final delivery. The goal was to create a meaningful story that showed donors the real impact of their support and how their contributions help families build a stable future.

WC Knives — The Story
This documentary tells the story of a Texas-based knife maker and his journey into the craft. The film follows his background, his approach to knife making, and the process of creating a new blade that had not yet been released.

For this project, I operated the camera on location, directed the subject for strong composition, and handled the full post-production process, including editing, color grading, and music selection. The goal was to create a professional documentary for YouTube that highlighted the relationship between Ridgerunner Blades and local knife makers while also promoting an upcoming product release.
